Filmmaker Cindy Kleine takes us on a unique and peculiar journey into an American Landscape few of us have ever seen . In this dreamlike road movie, we meet six bizarre, idiosyncratic, and inspirational "outsider" artists who are expanding the definition of art and re-defining our concepts of freedom. To a jangling, mysterious and haunting score by composer Bruce Odland, these maverick, self-taught American artists force us to question our values, and through their visionary intensity, offer us hope. Inside Out is truly a world of lunatics, lovers, and dreamers.
Kleine's film features the nationally known and locally grown personality of Dick and Jane's Spot, Ellensburg's most famous art-site.
